1. Conference Check-in

Time: 16:30 – 20:30, October 16 Venue: Lobby, Hubei Hotel （湖北大厦）

Participants can collect their name badges and welcome gifts during check-in.

2. Welcome Reception

Time: 17:30 – 20:30, October 16 Venue: Danjiangkou Hall, Hubei Hotel （湖北大厦 丹江口厅） Format: Buffet

For IALP26 participants only. Please wear your name badge to attend.

3. Conference Banquet

Time: 19:00 – 20:30, October 17 Venue: Garden Wing Ballroom III, Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing （香格里拉酒店 景阁大宴会厅 III 厅）

Please wear your name badge to attend.

Shuttle bus service: A bus will depart from the Hubei Hotel entrance at 18:20 to take conference participants to the Shangri-La Hotel, and will return to the Hubei Hotel at 21:00.

4. Tourism Information (For Reference)

Forbidden City
Many conference participants may wish to visit the Forbidden City (Palace Museum) during their stay in Beijing. For international visitors, booking requires the official English website. Below are some useful tips based on recent visitor experiences:

Key Timing: Tickets are released at 8:00 PM (Beijing Time), 7 days in advance of the visit date.
Preparation Tips (Highly Recommended):
Register an account with your email a few days before the booking date.
In “Personal Center”, add all visitors’ information (First Name, Last Name, Passport Number) in advance.
At Booking Time:
Log in promptly at the release time to select date and time slot.
Morning slot: 8:30-12:00; Afternoon slot: 12:00 until closing.
International credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) are accepted.
Important Reminders:
Essential: Bring the passport used for booking for entry verification.
The museum is closed every Monday.
All visitors enter at the Meridian Gate (Wu Men).
