IALP 2026 Presentation Guidelines
All accepted papers at IALP 2026 will follow a combined oral-and-poster presentation format. Each paper will be presented in two parts:
1. A 5-minute oral presentation
2. A 30-minute poster presentation and discussion
At least one registered author must attend and deliver both parts. The oral and poster presentations will take place within the same technical session.
1. Oral Presentation
Each paper is allocated 5 minutes for a concise oral presentation.
Presenters should:
* Briefly introduce the research problem, proposed approach, key results and main contribution.
* Prepare 2–5 slides.
* Ensure that the presentation does not exceed 5 minutes.
* Transfer the presentation file to the conference laptop before the technical session begins.
* Arrive at the session room at least 10 minutes before the session and introduce themselves to the session chair.
Due to the tight schedule, presenters should focus on the paper’s key messages. Detailed explanations and questions should be reserved for the subsequent poster session. There will be no separate Q&A period after each oral presentation.
2. Poster Presentation
The oral presentations will be followed by a 30-minute poster display and discussion session.
Presenters must:
* Prepare and bring a printed poster.
* Mount the poster on the board assigned to their paper before the technical session begins.
* Remain beside the poster throughout the 30-minute poster session.
* Be prepared to explain their work and answer questions from participants.
* Remove the poster promptly after the session, unless otherwise instructed.
The poster board is 80cm wide and 200cm high. The recommended poster size is A0 in portrait orientation, approximately 80 cm wide×120 cm high. The conference provides double-sided tape for sticking.
The poster should clearly present:
* Paper title
* Authors and affiliations
* Research motivation and objectives
* Proposed method
* Key experimental results
* Conclusions
Figures, diagrams and tables should be sufficiently large and clear to be viewed from a reasonable distance. Authors are encouraged to include a QR code linking to supplementary materials, demonstrations or a project webpage, where appropriate.
3. Presentation Schedule
The detailed programme, including each paper’s oral presentation time, poster-board number and poster-session allocation, will be published on the conference website and communicated to authors before the conference.
Authors are responsible for checking the final programme and attending both components at their assigned times.
4. Important Notes
* The 5-minute oral presentation limit will be strictly enforced.
* Both the oral and poster presentations are required.
* All oral presentations and posters must be in English.
