Important note: Registration to cover an accepted paper should be received by Sep 15, 2006.

1. Proceedings Volumes

Please take note that each accepted paper will be published in one of the two proceedings volumes. The paper format for the two books are the same. But the copyright forms are different.

The two volumes are:

Note: the Springer LNAI Book is published by Springer and is indexed by SCI expanded, while the Companion Volume is published by COLIPS with an ISBN number, and not indexed by SCI.

2. File Format

Please take note of the following when formatting your paper:

You should use the latex style files or word document template as specified in the LNCS/LNAI author instruction page to prepare your submission:

Please do NOT print page numbers or running head on your final paper.
Authors should write their first names in front of their surnames (family name) with initial capitalization.
The length of paper should be no more than 12 pages.

The copyright forms for the two volumes are different. Please make sure you sign the correct form. The forms can be download from the following links:

4. Online Submission

You final manuscript and related files should be submitted through online paper submission system by 30 Aug. 2006. Please kindly submit a zip file containing the followings:

The source files to generate the pdf file of the paper. e.g. all the latex files, diagrams etc, or the word document.
A final pdf file of the paper
Copyright form signed by one author on behalf of all the authors of the paper. Scanned copies or digital signatures are acceptable.
A readme text file indicating the first name(s), and surname(s) of all the authors of the paper, as well as the name and email address of the corresponding author.

5. Fax Submission of Copyright Form

If you send the copyright form by fax, please send to the publication chair Dr Eng Siong Chng at +65-67926559 (Kindly write "Attention: Asst Prof Eng Siong Chng, SCE, NTU" on your fax cover).

6. Registration (Important)

For each paper, at least one author must register by September 15, 2006; otherwise the paper will not be published. A single registration cannot be used for multiple papers.
