Selection Procedure for Best (Student) Paper Awards

  • The lead Program Chair handles the nomination process of best paper finalists based on the merits of the papers and the reviews received.
  • Only papers with full scores by all reviewers are considered.
  • Any full-scored paper that is recommended by an editing Senior Program Committee member directly qualifies as a best paper finalist.
  • The manuscripts, review comments, scores, full-length presentation videos of the finalist papers are then sent to the Award Chairs for evaluation and selection.
  • The Award Chairs evaluate each paper based on significance, motivation, problem statement, technical contribution, impact and clarity of writing and presentation before making recommendations to the General Chairs and Programme Chairs for final approval.
