Instructions for Submitting Final Manuscript
This page outlines the steps to follow to prepare and submit the camera-ready version of your papers for ICCPOL-2006.
1. Paper Format
As ICCPOL 2006 proceedings will be published as an LNCS volume, you must prepare the final camera-ready copy of your paper according to Springer's detailed instructions. Papers that do not follow the instructions will be reformatted by the committee and/or Springer. Please note the following:
2. Submission
The deadline for submitting your camera-ready paper is 30 August 2006. As we have a very tight schedule, we ask for your cooperation to submit on or before the deadline to make sure the proceedings can be printed on time for the conference. Both soft copy and hard copy should be submitted as follows.
(1)Soft copy submission
Make sure you include the following in a zip file (PaperID.zip):
- LaTeX2e files for the text and PS/EPS or PDF/JPG files for all figures
- The final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX)
- RTF file (for word processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX)
- A PDF file for the final version of your paper
- Any style files, templates, and special fonts you may have used and that are not generally available at CTAN
- A readme text file giving the fist name(s) and the surname(s) of all the author(s) of the paper, as well as the name and address of the corresponding authors
- A PDF file of your signed copyright form
- Only one author need sign on behalf of all authors. The copyright form can be downloaded from the LNCS website given above.
- You can scan your signed copyright form to a PDF file. Please ensure that the file is readable, clear and printable.
- Please use the following information when filling up the copyright form:
- Tile of the book/volume/conference: ICCPOL 2006/4285
- Volume Editor(s): "Yuji Matsumoto, Richard Sproat, Kam-Fai Wong and Min Zhang"
- Title of contributions: the title of authors' paper
- A template file is available here.
- File name convention:
- “PaperID_Copyright.pdf” is only for copyright file.
- For other files, use your paper ID plus corresponding extension name.
- For example, if your paper ID is 88, your file names should be like:
- 88.tex 88.ps 88_figure.pdf 88.rtf 88.txt 88_readme.txt 88.pdf
- 88_copyright.pdf
- Compress all above files into 88.zip

(2)Hard copy submission
Please send the following two documents to the address below:
- A single-sided printout of your final paper (not a photocopy, with NO page numbers or running heads. The page number can be written with pencil on the reverse side of each page ).
- The signed copyright form

3. Important Notes
For each paper, at least one author must register; otherwise the paper will not be published. A single registration cannot be used for multiple papers.
