It is suggested strongly that every author read and follow the instructions given in this page. For more help, please e-mail the conference organizer for help.

Submission of Final Papers

The final papers for printing in proceedings should be prepared according to the following guidelines:
 
Paper size A4, 211x298 mm Letter size is not accepted because it causes problem in printers which are set only to A4 page size
 
Maximum length of paper 7 A4 pages for full and regular papers; 4 A4 pages for short and poster papers
 
Papers exceeding these lengths will be rejected.
Title Centre the title of the paper and the authors' names, institution, postal and e-mal address at the top of the first page.
 
Paper with wrong or incomplete addresses will be rejected.
Text body The text body should be 160x240 exactly. Please set the margins to be: left 25 mm, right 25 mm, top 30 mm, bottom 30 mm.
 
 
Font and point size
Title 16 points, bold for English, use Haiti for Chinese title but do not use bold Times Roman, HeiTi  
Names and addresses of authors 11 points, normal Times Roman, SongTi  
Abstract 11 points, italic Times Roman, SongTi  
Section Header 12 point, bold Times Roman, SongTi  
Sub Section Header 11 points, bold and italic Times Roman, SongTi  
Sub-sub Section 11 points, italic Times Roman, SongTi  
General Text body 11 point Times Roman, SongTi  
bibliography and footnote text 10 points, no blank lines between citations. Use the format: author name/s, paper title, journal, volume, year, page number. Check the template. Times Roman, SongTi
 
 
Do not bold the Chinese characters. Instead, use Heiti. Use Times Roman whenever possible. If you are not using one of the standard font for PDF, you must make sure that the font is embedded. Some times, text with non-standard font will not printed with a replaced font. The appearance of your paper will not be correct.
Section, sub-section and sub-sub-section cannot be the last line of a page. Move them to the top of next page.
Line spacing Use single-line spacing.
 
 
Paragraphs left and right justified. Do not insert a blank line between two paragraphs.
 
 
Indention Indent when begin a new paragraph, except the first paragraph in each section
 
 
Header and page numbers Do not include header and page numbers. These will be inserted by the  proceedings editors.

Copyright Transfer

You must transfer the copyright of your paper to COLIPS. The final electronic version of your paper and signed copyright transfer agreement must reach us at the same you submit your final paper. Please download the  Copyright Transfer Agreement when you paper is accepted, signed and send the hard copy to: COLIPS (c/o 14A West Coast Road #03-01, Singapore 127299) immediately.

Papers without Copyright Agreement properly signed and received will be withdrawn from the conference and will not be printed in the proceedings.

Payments

It is our requirement that at least one of the authors of an accepted paper must come personally to present their papers. He/she must register on line upon being notified by the conference organizer on the acceptance of his/her paper. He/she must also pay the full conference fees (Not the student's fee)  at the same time. Considering that this often involves the transfer of funds from one country to another, we will wait for 10 days for the funds to arrive. After that, the paper will be cancelled.

Please tell the bank to include your personal name (not your institute or some one else) when doing the bank transfer. If you are using cheque provided by some one, please write your name behind the cheque. You may now also pay by credit cards.

An on-line registration will not be considered valid unless we receive your full payment. It is your responsibility to pay for the bank charges for transfer of funds or purchase of bank draft. We are not responsible for such service charges.

Refund

In cases where you have made payment to the conference but unable to attend the conference because of expected events, you may ask for a full refund. We will subtract the amount with S$80 administrative and bank charges if it is one month before the conference. Only half of the amount you paid (minus S$80) will be refunded to you if it is 15 days before the conference. No refund will be possible if request comes within 15 days of the conference.

If you need us to send you an invitation letter, please register first. We will then generate the letter from the information given, sign and send to you by air-mail.

You can also get our tour agent's help applying for visa if necessary. Please fax you passport to Travel GSH, attention Mr Chai Yin, the Director, Fax number: 65-6236 1360. You may also like to call Mr Chai at 65-6236 1361 for clarification.

When contacting or faxing passport to Travel GSH, please attach a copy note stating the name of meeting/conference/workshop you are attending and your flight schedule. GSH will help you to obtain tourist visa for you to enter Singapore and Malaysia.

马来西亚签证(针对大陆参加会议者): 我们联系的代理人证实:无论因公或是因私护照在通过第二通道进入马来西亚时都可以办理落地签证,但是要求我们必须提供护照首页的拷贝,另外,请务必准备两张照片!!因此清各位尽快将护照首页传真给:65-6236 1360,另外预防万一,请也提前复印一份护照首页带着。在到达后,请交给我。

Mails

Many times you may want us to send you documents by mails. We would absorb the postage of ordinary surface and air mails. But for expressed mails, we want the full amount to be paid to us.

Additional Proceedings

We provide every participant one printed proceedings with no additional charge. For additional copy of proceedings, you have to pay additionally for each copy you order.
